And then the weirdest thing happened, my roommate started complaining about WiFi not working.

Restarted my PC and router several times, uninstalled and installed drivers a couple of times but to no use. And then from nowhere bam! Internet stopped working. Started downloading drivers for my GFX card and other drivers as I had freshly installed Windows. It seemed to work great for the first 30 seconds. I plugged the adapter in my PC and installed the appropriate drivers for Windows 10. I had never had to call them for tech support, flawless service, until the doomed day when I bought this spawn from hell (NETGEAR WNDA4100-100NAS). I built my desktop recently and bought this Wifi adapter as it wasn't possible for me to connect using an Ethernet cable. Which made me laugh at my stupidity of buying this product. Well Netgear played a practical joke on me by creating this product in the first place. This may be the first review for this product on newegg but I see no reason so far to not buy this with confidence. I realized one day however that I needed an adapter and didn't want to order it online just to find out it was terrible, so I purchased it locally (sorry newegg).
My last Netgear adapter was somewhat of a nightmare and looking at reviews for current adapters made me extremely hesitant to invest in another one. Which surprises me because reviews of many of Netgears adapters are none too pleasant at the moment. As far as the actual function of the device I have no complaints whatsoever. Overall Review: Basically all my complaints are minor aesthetic things. I put it behind some books because it was distracting when trying to sleep. Just seemed a little sketchy when I saw it. It does get a little warm so maybe it needs to breath. The two plastic covers sandwich together in such a way that there is actually some exposed circuit board on the sides.
Not a big deal but thought it was going to be cooler looking. It's more of a semi-clear matte/white plastic. No lag whatsoever.Ĭons: -The clear plastic middle piece isn't quite as clear as the pictures would suggest.
